The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in partnership with in partnership with the Department of Higher Education and Training invites unemployed graduates to apply for 145 x Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI) Internship Programme 2023.
This comes as part of the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI) to mitigate the devastating economic challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This opportunity is only available to South African citizens and permanent residents
UKZN is committed to meeting the objectives of Employment Equity to improve representativity within the Institution.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
The University of KwaZulu-Natal, in partnership with the Department of Higher Education and Training, seeks to provide 145 unemployed UKZN graduates employment and on the job training.
Young talented individuals between the ages of 18 and 35, currently unemployed, not studying full time, nor receiving any form of a government grant (including NSFAS), young persons living with disability and women, you are eligible and encouraged to apply. In addition, you must have
- Completed your qualification (Diploma, Undergraduate Degree or Postgraduate Degree) and provide proof of same.
- An excellent ability to work with people and within groups;
- Good communication skills, be a good listener; and
- An interest in serving the university community.
All successful candidates will be placed on graduate Internships for six months, from 1 May 2023 to 31 October 2023, for the following available opportunities:
