Job Description
Truworths is looking for IT graduates who aspire to become passionate software developers and are eager to learn about technology and the business of retail. Be prepared to work with latest technologies and develop and support the systems that make Truworths South Africa’s leading fashion retailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in making technology work for us and serving various business needs.
- Working with software programming languages that include: C# ; PL/SQL ; Java ; SQL.
- Using these programming skills in working with various teams across our Information Systems Department namely: POS (Point of Sale) Team, Merchandise Logistics Team, Business Intelligence Team, Finance and Human Resource Systems Teams, Merchandise Systems Development Team, Systems Support Teams, and the Credit, Risk and Marketing Team.
- Learning transferable skills that are also used in other industries.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Sc Computer Science, B.Com Information Systems, B.Eng, B.Tech, National Diploma in Software Development or any other tertiary qualification related to Computer Science and Information Technology.
