Compliance Intern

A 12 month internship opportunity for youth with post-matric: BA in Law or Qualification in Compliance.

The Intern will be placed within the Legal and Compliance Department.

Requirements:

You will need to meet this required criteria;-

  • Completed BA in Law or Qualification in Compliance
  • Not more than one year working experience (or none)
  • Communication skills.
  • Research skills.
  • Report writing skills (MS Word and MS PowerPoint).

Marketing Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities are as follows;-

  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities.
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
  • Prepare promotional presentations.
  • Help distribute marketing materials.
  • Manage the Top Service Programme and assist in updating customer database.
  • Help organize marketing events.
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns.
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition.
  • Communication between internal and external customers.

Logistics Intern

Qualifications: Degree in;-

Transport Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of vehicles and vetting
  • Verification of vehicles for Compliance
  • Loading of vehicles on the system to ensure readiness
  • Ensuring and reduction of HSSE incidents
  • Scheduling vehicles for loading
  • Executing the load scheduling
  • Debriefing of the loads and ensuring deliveries are planned in advance
  • Reporting of KPI’s
  • Processing of accruals
  • Verification of the loads and processing the invoices
  • Ensuring benchmarking and loading of the transport rates
  • Training on Basic PATROM, Safe-to-Load (STL) and vehicle Inspection.

Supply Processing Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all necessary SAP stock movement for Supply department (Shipping, Pipeline and In tank movements)
  • Control, analysis, and reconciliation of Supply and Natref dispatch stock on SAP. (T-plants)
  • Monthly reconciliation and clearing Natref dispatch plant
  • Ensure EDI is referenced for all relevant processing on Supply plants
  • Investigate and resolve incorrect stock balances arising from the daily reconciliations
  • To perform processing of all Supply Operational expenditure on Ariba system
  • Capture Financial Debit and credit notes on SAP
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation of OOC’s and customer account due for payment
  • Assist with Checking of OOC and Transnet Pipeline reconciliation
  • Track weekly open sales orders and Purchases orders and report via weekly KPI

Card Admin Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and Accountable to provide end to end Administration processes on the Card and Mobility Offering relating to both   Customers and Dealers
  • To ensure Customer and Dealer cards are well maintained in creation,
    printing, blacklisting and renewals, whilst following the internal and Group procedure
  • To investigate and resolve queries daily raised by Customers, Dealers, Total Customer Care agents and logged on SALSA, thereby contributing to being number one with our customers
  • To investigate and capture manual transactions performed by TotalEnergies Card Merchant’s onto the Tomcard System within 24 business hours
  • To analyse daily the Card anomaly reports and communicate issues to Customers to ensure successful systematic transactions
  • To effectively manage cash accounts daily and assist with customers financial controls
  • To investigate errors and missing receipts on card balances and to ensure transactions are correctly sequenced, thereby ensuring Priority Control 2 (Trial balance) is well maintained as per procedure
  • To ensure good record keeping of requests by customers (cards – new, hot listing and instructions of limit movements)
  • To ensure clients card records are validated and kept up to date – quarterly reviews with clients
  • To accurately calculate, capture and publish the monthly Card pricing on the Tomcard Systems as per internal procedure
  • To assist Customers and Dealers with the Card processes, systems, administration, reports, and product knowledge
  • To provide daily support to the Card Sales Representative as per allocated areas
  • To investigate Bank EFT queries raised by TotalEnergies Dealers and efficiently manage the resolution between Bank, Dealer and Customer
  • To submit weekly and monthly KPIs on activities within area of control to Management
  • To provide support with Projects related to all EFT and Card and Mobility offerings, developments or enhancements when required

HSEQ

  • To effectively manage and minimise HSE risk within area of responsibility by ensuring Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guideline, and legal requirements
  • Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies
  • That HSE competency requirements are identified & enforced within area of responsibility

Sales (Business to Business) Intern

Context and Environment:

  • Tension in achieving an effective balance marketing benefits and profitability for customers and to ensure long-term sustainable and profitable business in dynamics markets where customers have freedom of choice

Accountabilities:

  • The intern/s will be responsible for controlling (Sales – B2B) marketing activities of TotalEnergies and other adhoc activities from Line Managers.

Qualifications:

  • B Tech Mechanical Engineering

Payroll Intern

A 12-month internship opportunity for youth with post-matric: BCom degree in Human Resource Management

The Intern will be placed within the Human Resource department and will gain practical experience in Recruitment, Payroll, Employee Relations, Talent Management and multi-functional administrative duties.

Qualifications:

  • BCom Degree in Human Resource Management




Tax Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Direct Tax Specialist with the Income Tax accounting, compliance, and payments.
  • Assist the Indirect Tax Specialist with the computations and payments for Value Added Tax and various other levies and taxes.
  • Assist the Customs and Excise Specialist with the computations and payments for various customs and excise payments.
  • Assist the tax department with various administration activities such as managing invoice payments, gathering information for audits, and taking meeting minutes.

Qualifications:

  • BCom Honours in Taxation or
  • BCom in Accounting and Taxation

Legal Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shadowing of Legal Advisors (occasionally the Legal Manager) to meetings to understand the role of inhouse legal counsel.
  • Be able to plan and complete projects. This includes the ability to identify and solve issues by applying professional standards required of a legal professional. The individual must also be able to write, edit, and revise effective messages.
  • Attend to research of case law relevant to matters being handled by the Legal team.
  • Taking of minutes at meetings and ensuring case files are updated as matters are working on by the members of the Legal Team.

Lubricants Technical Advisor Intern

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Continually assist the Technical Team with updating and managing the digital tools with upcoming/changes in lubricants product portfolio
  • Assist and partake in implementing the vision and strategy of the Lubricants team
  • Track and document new product developments
  • Completing administrative functions by recording all customer complaints related information
  • Assist with managing inventory
