The National Consumer Tribunal invites unemployed graduates to apply for a 12-month Graduate / Internship Programme 2023.

The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Records Intern (NCT22/LI-002)
Position Reports to: Records & Quality Assurance Manager
Requirements:
- A Degree or Diploma in Information Management
- No previous work experience required
The successful applicant will be exposed to various areas within the records and the quality assurance
Functions including and not limited to the following:
- Practical application of the records lifecycle from creation to destruction of a record.
- Ensuring quality assurance standards are adhered to and applied within the records function.
- Digitisation of records and attending to the creation of copies and duplicate records as required.
- Provide available, complete, secure, and accessible case records to authorised stakeholders (PAIA)
- Indexing, paginating, and preparation of case files received.
- Compiling information related to quality assurances processes. Regularly update all case records on CMS for all files
- Ensure that finalised case related documents are scanned into the system before archiving.
- Assist in identifying and compiling lists of case records for offsite storage.
- Prepare documentation for off-site storage.
- Make copies of case records and any other documents as required (Records and Quality Assurance Manager)
- Scan all case related documents received and upload onto the CMS.
- Perform any other tasks that may be required by the Records and Quality Assurance Manager
Legal Intern (NCT22/LI-002)
Position Reports to: Case Manager
Qualifications:
- LLB Degree, no Job experience required
- Excellent academic track record

Key Responsibilities:
Interns will be exposed to procedural aspects of handling of cases and ensuring that cases are processed expeditiously and finalised, which will entail;-
- Conducting an assessment of a cases;
- Processing the logistics for the set down of cases; ensuring compliance with the rules and procedures for matters before the Tribunal;
- Interns will support the collation of performance information and management of statistics and any other case management tasks that may be required.
- Interns will also be given exposure to the substantive and procedural aspects of case management, which will entail case analysis and conducting of research.
