Key Responsibilities:
- Support in optimising deliveries into Distribution Centers (DC) and Point of Initial Stock (PIS) deliveries upstream.
- Address and improve efficiencies related to shipment dates, container deliveries, and inventory flow.
- Oversee the handover process from suppliers, ensuring on-time shipments and timely delivery of stock into the DC.
- Collaborate with suppliers, stores, and the DC to promptly address any stock or delivery issues.
- Act as a liaison with the planner and buyer to address any late deliveries and assess the impact on the department’s sales plan.
- Ensure effective communication between suppliers, DC, TFG shipping department, and merchandising departments.
- Vessel tracking, liaison with TFG Shipping department, follow-up on supplier cargo handover, pre-allocation follow-ups and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Recently completed a Degree in;-
- Supply Chain Management,
- Logistics,
- Business,
- Finance
- Or a related field or similar degree.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to supply chain optimisation
