Opportunities exist for young teachers-in-training to gain valuable experience on our Academic Intern Programme in 2021 / 2022. The successful applicant should be committed to a career in education and should be studying towards a Bachelor of Education degree or another degree, with the aim of obtaining a PGCE.
Interns are involved in all aspects of school life, including:
- activities within the selected subject departments;
- assisting/ teaching in the classroom;
- assisting with Electives and the Clubs and Cultural programme;
- performing boarding house, Knowledge Centre and San duties;
- performing various ad hoc duties as required.

2022 Apprentice Teachers (Ruimsig)
- You are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and entering your third or fourth year of studyOR a Bachelor’s Degree + Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- You will not be a qualified teacher at the start of 2022
- You are specialising in Foundation and/ or Intermediate phase NOT Senior phase.
