Sales Graduate
As a Sales Graduate during the first quarter of the programme you would be responsible for learning the full Product Basket of your assigned Division as well as understanding the Business Model of the organisation, thereafter you will shadow and support the Sales Team of your assigned division by assisting with covering cases and observing the theatre environment. Sales Graduates are also responsible for making clients aware of the various Smith and Nephew products.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Health Sciences
- Clear criminal and ITC records
- Own reliable vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
Graduate Field Technician
As a graduate you will be responsible for:
- Demonstrating specialist knowledge of Smith & Nephew capital equipment, surgical imaging systems and all other associated technologies on the camera tower/stack.
- Demonstrating competence in delivering customised camera system set-ups for each of end-user surgical disciplines of Arthroscopy, Laparoscopy, ENT, Urology, GYN, etc.
- Applying compliance: Understand and be familiar with industry code standards for company representatives in the clinical environment including hospital protocols for receiving and handling equipment.
- Relationship building: Demonstrate knowledge and ability to master key internal and external contacts.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- To study and finish the learning modules on SNN’s surgical video
- Study and finish the learning modules on associated technologies
- Read and understand all IFU instructions for SNN equipment
- Learn typical wiring diagrams, inputs and outputs related to SNN tower
- Study and practice all supported sterilization modes as applicable
- Conduct basic trouble-shooting and In-service checks.
- Align with SOPs on: Service, Product complaint and product Recall
- Complete CRICE / MASSOM clinical practice modules
- Assist regional clinical engineer, local sales representative as required
Requirements: National Diploma in;
- Electronic Engineering or
- Clinical Engineering
