A dynamic food processing company supplying major retailers in South Africa requires a hardworking, dedicated and results driven Quality Assurance/Quality Control Intern to join our team.
The factory is based in Pretoria and has been established to source, process vegetables and fruit, and manufacture various food products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receiving of raw material, the processing of raw material into a finished product and the dispatch of the finished product to the relevant customers. This is to be done in line with the company’s food safety policies and procedure while ensuring that the relevant supporting documentation are completed.
Requirements:
- BTech / Diploma in Food Science
- Overseeing the receiving of raw material
- Monitoring the processing of raw material into finished product to ensure that standard procedures are being adhered to
- Overseeing outgoing inspections for dispatch compliance
- Resolve quality related issues
- Monitor traceability
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and food safety standards
Experience:
- No experience required
- Understanding of food safety, quality control and industry would be advantageous
