Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labor department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a background in Marketing Research to join our Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for conducting market research and providing insights to support the development of marketing campaigns and strategies. The successful candidate will have experience in marketing techniques and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify market opportunities and target audiences.
- Create surveys, questionnaires, and focus group discussion guides to gather insights and feedback from clients, candidates, and other stakeholders.
- Analyse and interpret data collected from market research to provide insight and recommendations to the marketing team.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns that align with the company’s objectives and target audiences.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and report on performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain a database of clients and candidate information to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors’ activities, and new marketing techniques to improve company strategies.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Diploma/Degree in;-
- Marketing,
- Market Research,
- Or a related field
- 18-34 years of age
- Must not have taken part on the YES program before.
- Proven experience in marketing research, including survey design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Familiarity with marketing research tools and techniques, including focus groups, online surveys, and social media listening tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with the IT industry and experience working in a recruitment agency or related field would be an advantage.
