Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Spares (product only), Repairs (labour & product), Field Service (labour & product) quotations.
- Maintain pre-set margins on quotations.
- Obtain purchase orders via follow-up.
- Technical & commercial clarification of purchase orders before passing to order processors.
- Acquire & grow knowledge around Spares, Repair & Field Service portfolios.
- Actively manage daily workflows as logged in InControl (Track & Trace tool).
- Constantly grow knowledge of all internal tools & applications (SAP, PMD, SOW, SIOS, Industry Mall, AGT, iQuote, OMS, GSP, PridaNet, InControl)
- Be the inviting & pleasant interface between customer requirements & Siemens Portfolio offerings (client facing interactions, solid knowledge of portfolios for successful internal coordination of requests)
- Collaboration with Technical, Business Administration & logistics colleagues. Also acquire high level knowledge of these job functions for comprehensive start-to-finish process knowledge.
- Foster positive/strong relationships with local, international customers & colleagues i.e. understanding possible challenges/differences in written & spoken communication – overcoming & mastering them.
- Nurture a pliable & flexible attitude, change of responsibilities & accountabilities are always on the horizon in our ever-evolving industry
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completed BCom Degree in Accounting or Equivalent
- Little/No work Experience
- Thirst for knowledge / Eager to grow & learn
- Thorough, Precise & Attentive
- Approachable / Welcoming personality
- Ability to work in fast paced & high-pressured environment
