The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Business Administration Internship
Purpose
- To receive a 12 months experiential learning exposure into the Administration office of the company
Key Performance Areas:
- Assist with the admin work
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- National Diploma or Degree in Business Administration
Finance Intern – Accounts Receivable
Accounts Receivable is responsible to ensure correct allocations on debtor’s accounts and follow up on unapplied and unapplied receipts.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and information sharing with FSSC , Local Finance Business operations.
- Follow up on unapplied receipts with Business and Customers
- Liaise with the Bank on unidentified receipts
- Assist with Internal/ External Audits
- Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12
- Finance or Business Admin qualification .
- Computer Literacy in word and excel.
Chemistry Intern
Perform routine analytical techniques relate to the established Laboratory procedures
Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsibility to print sample labels.
- Responsible for operation of laboratory instrumentation
- Must be able to help with the preparation of SANAS audits
- Responsibility to work in other areas and/or Divisions if asked to do so.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric or N3 with Mathematics and Science as subjects
- BSc, BTech or National Diploma in Chemistry or something similar
Analytical Chemistry Intern
Perform routine analytical techniques relate to the established Laboratory procedures
Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsibility to print sample labels.
- Responsibility to log received samples into the SLIMS using work orders from the client
- Responsibility of analyzing all analytical samples using the correct procedures and/or methods
- Must be able to help with the preparation of SANAS audits
- All analytical data and calculations shall be made traceable and stored in the relevant files for that purpose or LIMS.
Qualifications:
- BSc, BTech or National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry and/or proven years of laboratory, knowledge, skills and experience sufficient to be recognized as a qualification through – Recognition of Prior Learning
- Grade 12 / Matric or N3 with Mathematics and Science as subjects
Requirements:
- Be a South African citizen (be able to produce a valid South African ID document)
- Be between the ages of 18-30
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must have no criminal record
- Must have completed a relevant tertiary qualification (National Diploma or Degree)
- Willing to be relocate
