The Small Enterprise Development Agency invites unemployed graduates to apply for a 12-month Graduate / Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

Salary: R5 000.00 monthly stipend

Location: Klerksdorp, North West & Free State – South Africa
Closing Date: 15 June 2023
The purpose of the internship programme is to provide appropriate and relevant work experience which is in line with the intern’s qualification.
The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Intern – Information Officer
Location: North West: Dr Kenneth Kaunda Branch (Klerksdorp)
Duties:
- Coordinate branch events and activities and provide support for Provincial Events
- Disseminate information to internal and external branch stakeholders and make relevant referrals
- Conduct assessments and implement interventions
- Coordinate and facilitate of training and information sessions
- Maintain and update database records and marketing material
Requirements:
- Matric (NQF level 4) plus Diploma (NQF Level 5/12 months certificate) in;-
- Business Management
- Marketing
Intern Accountant
Location: Free State: Provincial Office
Duties:
- Provide support in the implementation of Financial Accounting Policies and Procedures.
- Provide support in the implementation of financial control systems.
- Provide support in managing provincial assets.
- Supply Chain Management.
- Process Provincial Payments.
- Financial Reporting.
Qualifications:
- Matric and a three year qualification (NQF Level 6) in;-
- Accounting
- Financial Management.
Able to demonstrate:
- Knowledge and experience in the application of GRAP, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, King III Report, Corporate Governance System and other related Legislation.
- Comprehensive knowledge in account processing, cash flow control and payment principles.
- Advanced MS Office (Excel)
- Knowledge and experience in financial accounting and payment systems
- Knowledge and understanding of Accounting Principles
- Understanding of business imperatives around financial management
NB: No experience required
