Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- National Diploma in Safety Management
Requirements:
- Driver’s license
- Computer literate
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site inspections and complete relevant registers.
- Coordinate internal and external training and update training matrix.
- Conduct planned task Observations and give reports and recommendations.
- Conduct risk assessments for the site together with the risk team.
- Review Safe work procedures.
- Manage PPE stock, (Issuing and ordering).
- Ensure safety site compliance by all visitors, employees, and contractors.
- Coordinate and ensure up to date legal appointments.
- Conduct inductions for all contractors and new employees.
- Ensure all SHEQ records are up to date.
- Implement safety programs and policies.
- Ensure continuous safety awareness on the site.
- Investigate and record all incidents and accidents.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Take part in all safety related Audits and Surveys.
NB: Candidate should be a team player, have good communication skills (verbal and written), exercise a high degree of self-discipline, confidentiality, and demonstrative initiative.
