Purpose:
To provide support in the Logistics department including shipping coordination for both imports and exports, transport coordination and warehousing support projects
Key Performance Areas:
- The incumbent will be responsible for providing support on transport coordination.
- Support to logistics manager for loading of shipping invoices.
- Provide support shipping coordination for imports and exports.
- Process invoices for transport & logistics service providers timeously.
- Co-ordinate & assist in tracking of transport open requisitions and processing of insurance claims for vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle management system including vehicle maintenance schedules, allocation letters to user departments etc.
- Assist with warehouse management activities including stock take, inventory control, warehouse housekeeping etc.
- Assist on warehousing and logistics projects.
Requirements:
- B – Tech/Degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics/Supply Chain and Operations Management
- Driver’s License (advantage)
- One year Experience (advantage)
