Reinke Logistix is an up-and-coming company in the transport sector with great potential for growth and opportunities for their employees. The company is looking for a dynamic Logistics Graduate. The ideal candidate will be a presentable and self-motivated individual with a passion for a fast-paced business environment and willing to help grow the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Debrief vehicle and trip documentation.
- Vehicle checks.
- Capture all trip sheets on the system.
- Collection of all Toll and Diesel slips.
- Calculation of L/Km.
- Ensure that equipment and pallets are offloaded.
- Inform briefing of vehicle returns.
- Completion of trip sheets
- Managing any driver or delivery issues that may develop during shift.
- General administration duties.
- Ensuring correct paperwork and POD’s are issued and returned.
- Liaise with drivers throughout the shift and obtain updates and progress of delivery time scales, relaying feedback to the relevant departments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics (or similar)
- Knowledge of the transport industry
- Passion for people
- Willing to learn and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English) & Computer literacy
- Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail
- Work independently and without supervision
- Self-driven, multitask, and excellent interaction skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactivity with problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent telephone manners
- Willing to work extended hours
- Ability to commute/relocate
