Our client based in Pietermaritzburg is a Network Operations Call Center and are seeking Junior Engineers to join their team.
Junior Engineer duties include:
- Answering incoming calls from WISP subscribers
- Accepting and acknowledging tickets and calls allocated by Customer Services
- Logging and updating tickets in the relevant WISP ticketing system
- Provide technical help desk support to network users
- Network performance analysis as per WISP procedures
- Network availability monitoring as per WISP procedures
- Fault logging with service providers as per WISP procedures
- Evaluate connectivity issues with various LAN/WAN technologies
- Strictly adhere to, and enforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations
- Take ownership and responsibility of any issues from start through to a successful resolution or escalation
- Respond to WISP queries on various escalation platforms
Requirements:
- Are fluent in English.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have great customer service skills.
- Can follow procedures, processes and learn quickly.
- Are available to work alternating weekday, evening and weekend shifts
- IT literate
- Are passionate about providing a good service to customers
