Pragma is reaching out to all suitable graduates who are interested in creating and completing a bespoke Industrial/Organizational Psychology Internship programme for 2022. You will receive a contract for a period of 12 months. If you excel in the position, you will be considered for a permanent appointment. We are looking for an I/O psychologist intern to perform various industrial psychology activities and support in Pragma’s People Operations Business Unit. You will report to our Industrial Psychologist or People and Organisational Development Specialist as we would like to call her.
If you are interested in kickstarting your career as a registered Industrial Psychologist and getting a closer look at how our company approaches the development of our people and organisation, we’d like to meet you.
You will only be considered for this position if you have a valid letter from your educational institution, confirming that work integrated learning is a requirement to obtain your Qualification. You must also provide a confirmation letter that you have passed your first year of Masters (all subjects completed). Pragma will be able to offer you exposure on all required areas of your tailored internship programme, which we will help you create, after your appointment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current or recent letter from the tertiary institution, confirming your work experience requirement in weeks/months to obtain your qualification
- Proof of current studentship such as registration confirmation for current year
- Good communication skills verbally and in writing
- Academic record of years completed
- Academic record of current year
- A student busy with their qualification relevant to this job
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Industrial Psychologist with basic counselling skills and employee wellness activities
- Assist the Human Resource Department with their recruitment, selection, personnel administration, employment relations, employee compensation, performance management
- Assist with the design, structure, development and maintenance of the organisational culture
- Assist I/O Psychologist with the administration and analysis of psychometric and organisational assessments
- Attend employment industrial relations meetings and training
- Assist with training and coaching activities
