This role will assist with tasks in the IT procurement space, including assisting the Vendor Management Officer with onboarding of new vendors, contract management administration, procurement and financial administration.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Finance Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Financial Administrator with processing invoices for payment, including completing CapEx forms
- Assisting with tracking invoices that have been submitted for payment
- Assisting with procuring proof of payment when required
- Vendor Management Responsibilities
- Assisting with the collation of documents for vendor onboarding
- Assisting with MIE checks for new staff, including vendor staff
- Assisting with contract management
- Procurement Responsibilities:
- Assisting with tracking purchase orders (POs) once signed and managing PO schedules
- Assisting with asset management records and reporting
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BComm Finance or equivalent Legal qualification
Experience:
- None required – graduate position
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of contracts, financial principles and procurement.
- Strong Excel skills
- Good written and verbal communication
Competencies:
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work on their own with some supervision
- Good communicator
- Team player
