Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Intern at PGMS Accountants in George. The Accounting Intern will be responsible for assisting with general accounting duties, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and reconciling bank statements. The intern will work closely with the owner, tax specialist and members of the team.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or in the process of completing at least an accounting diploma or degree.
- Exposure to Xero or Sage and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized with excellent time management abilities.
- Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting, and taxes.
- Attention to detail to ensure a high degree of accuracy in work.
- Team player with a drive to learn and embrace new challenges.
