The Ornua Graduate Programme is an 18-month programme which offers graduates a chance to build a range of business skills and gain valuable experience in one of worlds’s foremost food companies. On successful completion of your 18 month programme, the top performers will be offered a permanent role within our business.
Ornua in Africa
Ornua Foods Africa is responsible for the sales and marketing of Ornua products, including cheese, butter and full cream and fat filled milk powders, under the Kerrygold, Beo, Avantage and Forto brands across the African continent. Key markets include Algeria, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Malawi and South Africa.
Ornua Foods Africa’s head office is located in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, with packing, storage and distribution partners throughout the continent.
In 2016, a Kerrygold packing facility was opened in Nigeria, providing a new route to market for Irish powdered milk. Irish milk powder is exported to Nigeria and packed and marketed under the Kerrygold brand which is then sold in small sachets, pouches or tins primarily through small distributors.
Kerrygold Butter is currently the No. 1 imported butter brand in South Africa.
