There’s lots of support and mentoring as you learn the role. To be successful, the ideal candidate will have a real interest in IT & have the ability to deal with customers, managing the desks priorities, whilst having a helpful attitude towards understanding issues and finding solution.

The position is responsible for handling day to day IT support and assistance to the end users, and executive team.



Job Description:

  • Installing, configuring and troubleshooting windows based desktops (hardware / Operating System) and web Browser/Java Virtual Machine applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc), .
  • Ensure end user devices are protected adequately using antivirus and encryption tools (McAfee)
  • Deploy and support end user mobility devices such as Tablets, iPads, iPhones and Blackberry e-mail etc.
  • Support Board/Conference room Audio Video facilities and Video Conferencing systems and ensure users are able to make use of the same efficiently
  • Configuration to access the network resources, Drives, Printers.
  • Maintaining IP enabled printers and phones.
  • Understanding of remote support and management application like Dameware, PC Anywhere, VNC.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate network using Microsoft Active Directory Domain.
  • End user Provisioning, Authentication and authorization, and user permission.
  • Thorough understanding of IP networks and troubleshooting methods.
  • The job incumbent should be willing and able to work irregular hours and under pressure when required by the situation.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree / Diploma in;-
    • IT
    • Or equivalent
  • Certification like A+, N+ is essential.
