Nkhophele Holdings is an Engineering consulting firm focused on sustainable infrastructure development. As a start-up company it offers a dynamic and challenging working environment to its team with unlimited room for growth.
Nkhophele is looking for a Finance and Admin intern with knowledge in finance and admin to join our team and gain experience while working with our finance consultants.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist with VAT and PAYE processing and recons
- Pastel Payroll processing and administration
- Banks, Debtor’s and creditors processing and recons
- Invoicing using Sage Paster
- Books to trial balance and hand over to external Accounting and Auditing firm for processing
- Compilation of management Accounts
- Budgeting
- Reconciliation and payment of company credit cards and petty cash claims.
- Responsible for record keeping of Company statutory information as well as submitting changes on CIPC
- Manage the electronic filing of bank statement received via e-mail.
- Assist the Financial Consultants to compile Auditors files for the annual audit.
- Assist Financial Consultants with ad hoc reporting
- General Office admin and assist with tendering
Qualifications
- B Com: Accounting (or similar) / National Diploma: Finance / Accounting / Bookkeeping
- Computer literate Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Nkhophele uses the Sage-pastel software thus basic knowledge of the software will be an advantage.
