Human Resources Intern
Location: Sunninghill, Gauteng, South Africa
The Human Resources Intern is required to assist with all administrative functions and also to assist with ad hoc projects as and when required.
The incumbent is further required to meet tight deadlines, to be accurate, to follow policies and procedures and to interact with the staff and management associated with the Primary Care Division as well as members of the public.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the filing of all HR personnel records and other documents into the electronic filing system
- Responsible to scan and catalogue all current files into the electronic filing system
- Assist with payroll input (incl. terminations, engagements, medical aid applications and changes,
promotions, transfers, personal information updates, loans, etc.) - Deal with employee queries (leave, retirement fund, medical aid, policies & procedures, etc.)
- Process maternity leave documentation
- Assist with file audits to ensure completeness and compliance
- Handle inbound and outbound calls
- Provide staff with information requested and deal with all queries
- Follow up with medical aid queries
- Follow up on job descriptions for new starters
- Follow up on leave pay on terminations
- Capture overtime
- Order name badges as required by the business
- Assist with other HR projects and initiatives, as and when required
Qualifications:
- A Three-Year Degree or a Diploma in Human Resources Management or related studies
IT Intern x2
Location: Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa
The IT Intern is responsible for maintaining the division’s IT network, support infrastructure and assist with project roll outs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Investigate and diagnose network problems
- Collect IT usage stats
- Make recommendations for improving the company’s IT systems
- Perform routine configuration and installation of IT solutions
- Provide basic IT support
- Assist with the setting up of new users
- Manage backup, security and passwords
- Assist the team with project roll outs
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 certificate
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
