The National Gambling Board invites unemployed graduates to apply for a 12-month Graduate / Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

Job Type: Graduate Internship

Salary: R12 000.00 monthly stipend

Location: Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa

The National Gambling Board (NGB) is established in terms of the National Gambling Act, (NGA) 2004 (Act No. 7 of 2004). It is a schedule 3A Public Entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999). The NGB makes provision for the coordination of concurrent national and provincial legislative competence over matters relating to the continued regulation of gambling activities and also makes provision for the establishment of uniform norms and standards applicable throughout the Republic in certain gambling activities.

INTERNSHIPS PURPOSE:

The NGB invites unemployed graduates to apply for Internship positions in the following study fields, namely;-


The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:


MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

REFERENCE NUMBER: NGB/Int 001-2023

Requirement: A three (3) year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in;-


LEGAL SERVICES

REFERENCE NUMBER: NGB/Int 002-2023

Requirement: A Bachelor’s Degree in;-


INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY (ICT)

REFERENCE NUMBER: NGB/Int 003-2023

Requirement:


Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates and those living with disabilities.

Those who previously participated in any Internship Programme, either in public or private sector will not be eligible or considered.

The appointee will be required to enter a twelve (12) months contract with the NGB (non- renewable).

Completed applications must be submitted by e-mail to ngb@ursonline.co.za or hand- delivered to the NGB Offices at 420 Witch Hazel Avenue, Eco Glades 2, Block C, Eco Park, Centurion.

Failure to submit all the requested documents can result in the application not being considered.
Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to Personnel Suitability checks and security clearance. It is the responsibility of candidates with foreign qualifications to have them verified by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Feedback will be provided to shortlisted candidates only, who will be interviewed on a date and time specified by the NGB.
