Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) in partnership with The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is pleased to announce a call for applications for incubation in the below mentioned fields of study.
Internship monthly stipend values (no other benefits apply as these are internship positions)

Geographical Information Systems/Science Intern

Environmental Science Intern

- BSc in Environmental Science
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental & Resources Studies
Aquatic Intern
Location: Lydenburg
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental & Water Science
Zoology Intern
Location: Head Office
Qualifications:
- BSc in Zoology or Wildlife
Veterinary Science Intern
Location: Head Office (Wildlife Management)
Qualifications:

Botany Intern

- Advanced Diploma in Wildlife Management
Applicant Requirements
- Must be a SA citizen.
- Young unemployed and underemployed professionals between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Innovative, dynamic and creative
- A commitment to career development in the environmental/biodiversity sector.
- Must hold qualifications mentioned in the table above
- People with disabilities are also encouraged to apply.
NB. Underemployed refers to youth employed in any sector than the one they studied for as per the above listed fields.

- Hand deliver an application letter, detailed CV, copy of qualification(s) and valid proof of residence to the mentioned Locations (Nature Reserves) or at the MTPA Head Office Base Stations – Block J Office J8.
- Certified copies of ID will be required from ONLY shortlisted candidates only.
- Applicants must indicate their preferred base station on the application letter.
