Modikwa Platinum Mine is offering opportunity for the Workplace Experience (P1/P2) Programme in the following disciplines.
Disciplines/Fields of Study:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
- Survey
- Geology
- Rock Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Finance
- IT
- Environment and Safety Management
- Ventilation & Occupational Hygiene Engineering
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- A valid Diploma or Degree in the required field of exposure.
Workplace experience programme conditions:
- Must be prepared to work underground, surface and at the concentrator (“dusty areas”),
- Be willing to work the working shift cycle,
- Must be a South African Citizen,
- Must pass the relevant rehabilitation functionality assessment (RFA) and medical certificate of fitness, Selection of candidates will be based upon the Modikwa Platinum Mine selection and recruitment procedure.
Additional Information:

- A letter from the institution stipulating that practical training is needed to complete a diploma or degree.
