Duties & Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of winning proposals by conducting market research, analysing client needs, and formulating effective strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to create comprehensive and persuasive proposals.
- Communicate complex engineering concepts to diverse stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
- Evaluate proposals objectively, assess project risks, and identify strategies for risk mitigation.
- Deliver persuasive presentations to clients, addressing their concerns and increasing the likelihood of securing contracts.
- Utilise proposal management tools and technologies to streamline the development process and ensure efficient collaboration and document management.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business development
- Continuously improve proposal development skills through learning and professional development opportunities
Qualification Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in;-
- Engineering or
- Quantity Surveying
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- 1 – 2 year’s work experience will be advantageous
- Strong interest in business development and a passion for driving growth
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in technical writing and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of proposal development processes is a plus
- Familiarity with project management principles is advantageous
- Computer literate in MS Office software tools
- English language proficiency
- Must be a South African Citizen
