This is a contract role for a Graduate Technical Intern. The Graduate Technical Intern will work on-site in our Durban office, and be responsible for assisting with technical inspections, analyzing data, preparing reports, and providing support to senior technical staff. The Graduate Technical Intern will also be responsible for attending meetings, training sessions, and other company events as required.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of risk engineering, loss prevention, and risk management principles
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical data
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant technical degree program, such as Engineering, Physics, or Math
- Experience in the petrochemical, energy, or marine industries is a plus
