Marketing Admin Assistant Intern
Job Description
To provide assistance to the Marketing & Business Development department with their day to day tasks and administration needs. This is an internship role in its nature, and the most suitable candidate would be someone who has administrative skills, has a teachable spirit, team player and show support to the audit department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in planning and organising events including booking rooms/ venues, sourcing catering, making name tags, and managing registration.
- Uploading all GAU events onto the intranet calendar
- Uploading content for GAU (JHB & PTA) in the SharePoint: corporate images, trainee information, event information, internal activities, etc.
- Managing the selection, sourcing prices, ordering and distribution of promotional items and other general ad hoc office duties
- Preparing market research and analysis to identify key targets
- Contacting potential clients via emails, cold calls, and LinkedIn
- Departmental administration
- Assist with CRM processes
Minimum Requirements:
- BA or BCom Degree
- Administrative skills
- Working experience advantageous
- Using CRM tool advantageous

- Able to work under pressure and follow detailed instructions
- Strong communication skills – confident, analytical, able to influence others
- Team Player – adaptable and able to contribute to a strong team culture
- Creative – able to suggest and develop new ideas
