DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSIS:
National leader in the Financial Services Sector requires a Legal Compliance Intern to join their expanding Onboarding team. The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the Onboarding Manager with contracts as well as any other compliance issues that needs to be attended to while onboarding new business or amendment of contracts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
- Completed LLB degree
- No previous experience needed
- Have an interest in the insurance industry.
- Must be diligent and very detailed orientated.
- Must have the necessary problem-solving skills and be able to think on their feet.
- Have good communication skills to efficiently communicate with clients as well as fellow co-workers.
- Understanding basic instructions
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contracts:
- Assist with the drafting and finalization of amendments that needs to be done to agreements that are currently in place.
- Ensure all amendments are in line with the most recent client agreements
- Ensure that all amendments are done accurately in a timeous manner
Compliance:
- Assist with any other compliance issues that needs to be attended to in onboarding (i.e. – help with the assessment of all marketing material, flyers, and websites for signoff).
Assist with basic administration (i.e. accurate filing of any onboarding documentation) - Assist with providing compliance advise regarding onboarding procedures
