Logistics Intern
The individual will work in the exciting environment of Logistics within the FMCG industry with the intent to develop and build experience in the field of Logistics management.
You will then need to apply and send your current updated CV, with confirmation of the below :
What will you be doing?
The Individual will be exposed to all logistics functions in the department over an 18-month period including but not limited to: Checking, Receiving, Issuing, Inventory, Replenishment, Container management, Leading a team and covering all aspects of MRO in the engineering stores.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in;-
- Purchasing
- Supply Chain Management
- Logistics
- Academic results above 70% in their final year whilst maintaining a 60% -65% average or over during the duration of their studies
Continuous Improvement Intern
This role will allow a successful candidate to support a high performing team, to learn Manufacturing excellence and best practices, and also to be exposed and experience to the Digital world in one of the top Manufacturing facility.
What will you be doing?
- Participate in 5s activities and audits in the mill
- Conduct time studies for manufacturing processes and look for opportunities to improve
- Visual management improvements in the mill
- Contribute to waste identification in manufacturing processes (8 waste)
- Participate in structured kaizen events
- Prepare/ Review standard work instructions for manufacturing processes
- Provide support in problem solving activities
- Select a project that will bring improvements to the mill
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree/B-Tech in;-
- Industrial Engineering or
- Operations
Skills and Knowledge:
- MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word skills
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Committed team player
- Outspoken and willing to learn
- Results-oriented
- Attention to detail
