Job Description:
KELE Mining Solutions is looking for an organised Finance Intern. Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management or Management Accounting. The position will be based at the Head Office in Kathu, Northern Cape where KELE Mining Solutions activities are Head Quartered. Only candidates from the Northern Cape will be considered.
- Must be unemployed and looking for workplace experience.
- Must have advanced MS Office Skills, specifically in Excel
- Knowledge of the Xero Accounting system will be advantageous
- Must be willing to learn, pay attention to detail, deadline drive with an ability to balance and prioritise multiple tasks
- Work well under pressure and have good written and verbal communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to
- Assists with month-end closing activities and process for timely delivery
- Capture invoices on accounting system
- Follow-upon open sales orders
- Timeously provide required audit information to internal and external auditors
- Review and update the end-to-end billing process
- Render ad hoc administrative support as required by Finance management
- Compile and maintain databases as are relevant for the Finance division
- Prepare month-end and audit files within set deadlines
- Provide and compile input to reports
- Ensure efficient communication of all customers/clients requested needs to the relevant line manager
- Handle queries and resolve problems
- Follow up on account queries, complaints etc where necessary
- Provide timeous compilation and submission of all recons
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management or Management Accounting
