The Johannesburg Social Housing Company invites unemployed graduates to apply for a 12-month Graduate / Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

Location: Braamfontein, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

The Johannesburg Social Housing Company SOC Limited (JOSHCO) mandate is to develop manage affordable rental housing for the lower market as an integral part of efforts to eradicate the housing backlog of the City of Johannesburg. JOSHCO is a registered Social Housing Institution and is accredited by the Social Housing Regulatory Authority (SHRA). JOSHCO invites suitably qualified graduates to apply for the following programme. The programme is aimed at providing graduates with an opportunity to gain practical work experience. Interns will be paid a monthly stipend.
The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Network Support Intern
Requirements:
- National Diploma /Bachelor’s Degree in;-
- IT,
- Computer Science
- Or other related field.
- Routing & Switching Certification (Cisco, H3C, Huawei, etc) will be an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of networks, routing & switching, routing protocols, VPN solutions, and high availability network design and management
- Knowledge of firewalls such as SOPHOS, H3C, Fortinet
- Understanding of VOIP
Human Resource Management Intern
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Bachelor’s Degree / National Diploma in;-
- Human Resource Management
- Or similar qualification.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office applications)
Graphic Designer Intern
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Bachelor’s Degree / National Diploma in;-
- Graphic Design
- Or similar qualification.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office applications)
- Must be able to work extended hours as and when required.
Information Security Intern
Requirements:
- National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in;-
- IT,
- Computer Science
- Or other related field.
- Information Security Certification(CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, Certified Ethical Hacker- CEH, etc) will be an advantage
- Understanding of Cyber Security
- Familiarity with Information Security Concepts
- Knowledge of the Cybersecurity landscape
- Knowledge of SOPHOS Firewalls
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be a resident within the City of Joburg (proof will be required)
- Must be between the ages 18-35 years
- Must be able to work extended hours as and when required
- Must not have participated on a similar programme
- Must be available immediately
