Software Developer Intern

As a Software Developer Intern, you will work alongside experienced software developers to design, develop, and maintain software applications. The responsibilities of the Software Developer Internship may vary depending on the company, but this opportunity is a great way to gain valuable experience in the field and build your skills and knowledge as a software developer.



Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Writing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Debugging and fixing software issues.
  • Collaborating with team members to find creative solutions to complex software problems.
  • Participating in code reviews and software design discussions.
  • Assisting with the deployment and maintenance of software applications.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Computer Science/Information Technology,
  • BEng
  • Or any other software development-related qualification.

Basic Requirements:

  • Adequate programming skills in one or more programming languages
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow as a software developer

Marketing Intern

In the role of a Marketing intern, you’ll be involved in developing and implementing the company’s multi-channel communication strategies and driving brand awareness. Part of the role will include assisting the company in designing marketing campaigns to maintaining and supplying the right content for a business campaign, managing social media engagement, running and managing email marketing campaigns and quantitative analysis of website traffic.

You will play an integral part in executing the company’s marketing campaigns. You will be involved throughout the campaign assisting with ideation, planning, implementation and measurement. It is therefore essential that you have hands-on experience using various digital marketing platforms. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, both in written and spoken word; have an analytical mind, be creative, and possess strong project management skills. In addition, the individual needs to pay great attention to detail and have time management skills, to be successful in this role.



Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities and duties may include but not limited to the following;-

  • Plan and executes all web, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  •  Designs build and maintain our social media presence
  •  Measures and reports the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses   against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
  • Plans, execute and measures experiments and conversion tests
  • Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels
  • Evaluates emerging technologies
  • Provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Running email marketing campaigns and weekly newsletters
  • Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members, including advertising, product development, and brand management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree/ Diploma (currently studying)

Basic Requirements:

 Customer Success and Experience Intern

As a customer success and experience intern, you are all about the experience of the customer. Your primary focus will be on understanding customers, troubleshooting complex issues, being a liaison between customers and product teams, and helping to operationalise processes and creating structure for scale.

It will also be your job to improve customer retention and increase upsells or referrals by ensuring customer satisfaction. You will need a thorough understanding of the company’s business model and products as well as the customers they typically attract. Meaning that you will interact with the leadership team at all times and learn from them and how they operate.

You will also be given reign to go above and beyond to achieve our goals and provide a superior customer experience.



Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Managing customer accounts
  • Resolving issues with the help of upper management
  • Creating strategies on how to retain customers
  • Provide proactive onboarding support to all new customers
  • Be the Voice of the Customer to the product team
  • Work with the team to innovate and refine the customer success processes with an aim to be constantly improving our processes and skillsets
  • Complaint handling and customer resolution to help our customers and to resolve any disputes or problems that may arise
  • Work to ensure that day-to-day customer needs are met in an efficient and timely manner
  • Prioritize, directly respond to, and engage qualified customer inquiries and requests via internal channels
