Purpose of Position:
- To process specimens according to set criteria and standards on all benches within the Immunology Laboratory and to assist with monitoring the workflow requirements to ensure timeous delivery of results.
Requirements:
- National Diploma: Medical Technology
Required Experience:
- Knowledge: Accreditation processes / procedures, Knowledge: GCP/GLP requirements,
- Knowledge: HPCSA regulations,
- Knowledge: Instrumentation and Methodologies,
- Knowledge: Materials Management,
- Knowledge: Meditech system,
- Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA),
- Knowledge: relevant pathology test procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath,
- Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath,
- Maintain quality control in order to ensure relevant quality standards are upheld within the laboratory,
- Perform allocated bench work in order to ensure effective and timeous delivery of results,
- Perform MM tasks in order to ensure effective monitoring and ordering of stock quantities
