Our client in the shipping industry requires 4 Supply Chain / Logistics / Procurement graduates for an internship opportunity.
This position is based in Little Falls, Roodepoort
This is a 12-month contract.
This position will give you the opportunity to learn various areas as per below:
- Containerized Shipments Worldwide
- Reefers and Non-operating reefers
- Cross Trade Bookings
- Project and specialised cargo
- Bulk/Breakbulk shipments
- Vessel chartering
- Freight and tender
- Container sales/ Leasing/ Conversions
- LCL/ Air freight
- Road and cross-border freight
- Logistical management solutions
- Warehouse and distribution
- Customer service
Requirements:
- Completed Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Supply chain, Logistics, Procurement or similar
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Fluency in English essential
- Valid code 08 driver’s license (Not a must)
