Key Responsibilities:
- Technical systems architecture design and configurations.
- Prepare technical documentation and specifications.
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of server and hypervisor operating systems.
- Network installation, configuration, and continuous monitoring.
- Diagnosis of network issues, monitoring switches, routers and Network cards.
- Onsite, O365 and remote and onsite desktop support.
- Printer configuration and support.
- PABX system support and maintenance.
- General hardware and software support.
- Backup software installation and maintenance.
- Anti-Virus software installation, updating, and monitoring.
- Attend technical meetings with the customer.
- Update and maintain the site records / support logs via the helpdesk system.
Qualifications:
- BTech in Information Systems or an IT related Diploma (NQF 6 or higher) or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Bachelor of Information Technology
- You are a South African citizen and reside in the Western Cape.
- You are between the ages of 19 and 28.
- Grade 12 – Required
- Driver’s licence and own vehicle – Advantageous
General Skills:
- Good communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Proven computer literacy.
- Ability to operate office equipment.
- Planning and organizing skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Must be detail oriented.
