IT Internship for 5 young people (Centurion)
iMasFinance is an authorized financial services provider, offering financing and insurance products. We are looking for energetic, self-driven, creative, and highly motivated individuals that are passionate about IT networks, Cyber Security, Development/coding and Business Process Analysis. The successful candidates require excellent communication skills and passion for investigation, coding C#, testing, and debugging software. You do not want to miss out on this amazing opportunity!
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will gain workplace experience in our IT department including exposure to the following;-
- Assist with coding C#, testing, and debugging software with SQL knowledge
- Knowledge of mobile apps and basic test automation frameworks (huge advantage)
- Analyse, diagnose and resolve IT errors
- Involvement in ad-hoc tasks/project
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members within and across business units
- Post implementation production support (after care)
- Record and track IT security incidents, including but not limited to copyright violations, compromised accounts, e-mail threats, and abuse reports from various sources
- Continuous on-the-job coaching, training, and mentoring
Qualification Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Accounting
- A 3-year Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, BSc Information Systems, or relevant IT qualification
- Security certification (advantageous)
Other Requirements:
- Able to solve problems creatively and efficiently
- Able to manage job pressure well
- Detail focussed as we work with sensitive data and critical business systems
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude, team player
- Must have interest in a career in information systems, networks, IT security or coding
- Applicants must be available to start with the Internship in November
