Job Title: Finance Intern

The Finance Intern will be responsible for carrying out accounting and administrative duties such as the processing and payment of vendors’ invoices, reconciliation of statements, following-up on unpaid vendors, obtaining statements and invoices and to provide book keeping and clerical support to all financial functions.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Creditors reconciliation
- Debtors reconciliation
- Bank transactions
- Creditor payment
- General Ledgers
- General Accounting Analysis
- Receive and distribute creditor invoices
- Prepare payments on EFT system.
- Handling and resolving supplier account and payment queries.
- General office administration.
Qualifications:
- Finance or Accounting Degree / Diploma
- Finance or Accounting Honours degree will be an advantage
Ideal Experience Required:
- No Experience required
- The incumbent should not have more than 2 year’s relevant working experience.
- Basic knowledge of an ERP system would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Q-Muzik would be an advantage
Key Technical Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Ms Word, Ms Excel, & Ms Outlook)
- Able to manage time, prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines
- Able and willing to learn
