GVI is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to join the Communications team in our Marketing department. This role will support our creators with content and administrative tasks, community management, and ensure social media and blog schedules are maintained.
To make a big impact in this role, you’ll need to be ambitious and organised, really wanting to grow yourself and your career. You’ll work closest with our Social Media Manager and play an important role in making sure our social- and blog content reach our global audience (who are mostly Gen Z). This is an opportunity for you to collaborate and learn, while also sharing your ideas around producing content!

What you’ll do and why it matters
- Assist our Social Media Manager with management of the GVI and Impact Academy social channels – to make sure we’re representing our brands well
- Promptly escalate any community management concerns to the Social Media Manager so we address our audiences’ needs quickly
- Review social media and blog content that’s produced by our global team, and escalate areas of concern to the Social Media Manager (social) or Lead Digital Editor (blog)
- Support the Social Media Manager with monthly reporting so our work keeps getting better
- Complete social media scheduling and research to help make sure we’re using our content tools well
- Support the QA team with publishing blog content on WordPress, and sourcing and editing images and other assets for blog and social media
- Provide administrative support, including maintenance of the marketing inbox and other tasks as they come up
Your Skills and Motivations:
- To excel in this role, you must have a collaborative spirit and work well with all personality types
- You’ll thrive in our team if you’d enjoy creative brainstorming sessions where you share what content you like and why, and suggest where we should be going with marketing to Gen Z
- You’re eager to learn about digital marketing and find your niche – whether you’re passionate about TikTok, SEO, analytics, concepts, writing or design, you should be up for the challenge of learning and then making your own content!
- You love to have fun but you know when to focus and you don’t bring drama to work
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Degree / Diploma in;-
- Marketing,

- Advertising,
- Media,
- English,
Publishing, - Public Relations (PR)
- or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly creative, with an an eye for detail
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Proactive and eager to learn
- Efficient and organised
