Grootbos Professional Guiding Internship Opportunity
An opportunity has become available for an internship opportunity at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve for candidates that are passionate about nature, conservation and would like to train as nature guides at an internationally acclaimed lodge that is a leader in sustainable and progressive nature based tourism.
The internship will include all training and practical requirements needed for a FGASA Level 1, Nature Guide and Marine Guiding Program (NQF Level 2).
The training is headed up by Grant Hine, who has many years of guide training behind him and 17 years heading up FGASA. The full programme is based on Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, and includes board and lodging only.
Requirements:
- Sarsveld, Diploma in Nature Conservation or BSC
- A background in nature conservation or natural sciences is advantageous
- Be fluent in English
- Driver’s Licence
- We are hoping to start by mid-February and only have limited spaces for this opportunity.
