The HSE team is seeking an intern to work with the HSE team. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the team with the tasks below including contributing to special projects and assignments. This opportunity will help you to gain valuable experience and skills, while being supported by the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle general HSE administration functions
- Support the HSE team with information required to update HSSE documentation
- Communicate with the schedulers daily to receive the Maintenance Site List
- Assist with tacking and management of personnel documentation
- Support the HSE team with communicating around expired documentation
- Support the HSE Administrator with sourcing accredited courses and training providers
- Assist with arranging medicals and site induction
- Support with input for compilation and updating HSE Reports and statistics
- Assist with tracking and implementing corrective actions with HSE audits
- Other reasonably required duties
Education / Achievements:
- Matric
- Bachelors / National Diploma: Environmental Health
- Must have completed community service
Specific Skills:
- Ability to manage own time and prioritize
- Attention to detail is essential
- Good interpersonal skills
- Fair-minded, objective and discreet
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytic skills
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate
- Efficient in MS Office suite
