Customer Service Intern

Purpose:

The main purpose of this position is to manage and co-ordinate customer orders from point of receipt to final delivery and invoicing. It is required to effectively co-ordinate with internal departments and managing the ordering of all related goods and service with the assigned supplier. Customer service is responsible to keep close dialogue with the BDM and if required the customer at all times to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to;-

Customer Order Management

  • Customer orders must be managed and tracked from its reception to the delivery and billing along with the involved departments, keeping the BDM and customer informed of the order status and possible problems or delays.
  • Timeously placement of all purchase orders to ensure customer demands can be met.
  • Coordinate and track the required processes (approvals, data reception, third party orders etc.) along with the involved departments, ensuring fulfilment of the delivery deadlines. Keep track of the necessary documentation on the basis of the existing procedures.

Supplier Management

  • Ensure processes and procedures adhere to the requirements of the suppliers (especially G+D factories).
  • Co-ordinate supplier on-boarding with compliance

Administration and Process Management

  • The incumbent must ensure proper record keeping of all documents (soft and hard copies) related to order processing and logistics.

Other responsibilities

  • Ad hoc projects must be implement to ensure continues improvement and compliance
  • Support and assist team member where possible.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or Diploma in;-

  • Logistics,
  • Procurement,
  • Supply Chain
  • Or any other related to the above position or similar.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 0-6 months market related experience in similar role.




Customer Product Management Intern (TCD)

Purpose:

This position is a key role in the delivery of G+D’s selling proposition to Telecommunication Institutions (also referred to as Mobile Network Operators) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). They will be required to support the CPM department with daily tasks related to projects and production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to;-

  • Technical Project Planning and Project Management including Project Plan documentation.
  • Support technical and Sales on all technical and project planning and product related queries (e.g. regular calls, presentations, product workshops).
  • Administration (trip reports, travel claims, CC claims, regular reports, etc.).
  • Customer Satisfaction (internal and external).
  • Documenting and knowledge sharing related to products and processes (internal and external).

Qualifications: Bachelor in;-

  • Science,
  • Commerce
  • Or similar.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 0-6 months market related experience in similar role.




Customer Product Management Intern (ePayments)

Purpose:

The main purpose of this position is to successfully assist the CPM Team to deliver ST+S customer projects that meet customer expectations with best possible quality design, on time and within agreed budgets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:;-

  • To Understand the ST+S product portfolio and customers’ business to actively promote best use of G+D’s portfolio.
  • Assisting with documentation and other project deliverables.
  • To act as the Project lead and Coordinating aspects of user testing cycles, producing test cards which should be delivered to the customer .
  • Utilizing internal and external experts as required, build project designs for the complete ST+S product portfolio (from physical to digital).
  • Collaborating with other CPM’s to gain more knowledge and get more exposure related to Product Management.
  • Collaborating with Production support, Supply chain clerk, client services and Customization engineer (be able to handle issues related to Personalisation issues, customer queries and also assisting with the customer issues related in the production) .
  • Recommend, implement and support processes that further departmental needs – E.g. Agile.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in;-
    • Computer Sciences,
    • Business Administration,
    • Business Analysis
    • Or similar
  • Project Management (IPMA, Prince2, Agile etc.).

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 month – 2 years market related experience.




Inside Sales Internship

Purpose:

The main purpose of this position is to ensure that all sales orders are captured accordingly and make sure that they see them through the entire process. The employee must support the Supply Chain and Sales team as per assigned project requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer the onboarding process for new customers, financial and compliance documentation requirements.
  • Upon request provide customer quotations and proposals for G+D solutions packages from SAP. Liaise with technical department, order management and logistics.
  • Generate SAP Order Confirmations (Advice other departments of Sale Process) and forward to logistics department to action, review overdue Order Confirmations with Logistics and Finance.
  • Coordinate the delivery, installation, invoicing and monthly maintenance initiation. Also ensuring customer payment (Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines).
  • Maintain quotation and order confirmation filling system.
  • Keep track of active debtors (clients) and creditors (suppliers)
  • Promote customer engagement by cold calling, making multiple outbound calls to potential clients. Keeping record daily on closed leads generated by the internal Sales Team (Wins)
  • Actively schedule meetings for the key account managers and actively participate with the presentations templates.
  • Constantly give feedback to clients internally and externally to maintain high levels of satisfaction through telephonic and documented contact
  • Give tours to external customers of our Experience center. Find and book sales team for new and existing Events and Exhibitions, maintaining report on deals attained from internal experiencer center tours

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in;-
    • Marketing
    • Or Sales related qualification

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years Inside Sales Assistant experience




Quality Management Internship

Purpose:

The main purpose of this position is to assist the Quality department with monitoring and management of the integrated management system implemented at G+D ePayments, GDZASTS. The Quality Intern’ main responsibilities includes supporting the , sustainability and improvement of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and various accredited standards; Mastercard Card Quality Management (CQM), and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS). The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:

  • Complete tasks assigned by Quality manager
  • Attend meetings to take minutes
  • Assist with documentation review and control of system documentation;
  • Assure adherence of personnel to international certification standards ISO, , CQM, and EHS;.
  • Assist with conducting internal audits as per scheduled;
  • Management of internal nonconformances and assist with identifying root causes;
  • Ensure that system deficiencies are addressed and prevented
  • Ensure the effectiveness of improvement actions implemented
  • Continuously improving the effectiveness of the IMS systems
  • Promote Company best practices & lessons learned
  • Test equipment management for the planning, implementation and documentation of the monitoring and calibration of all measuring and testing equipment. In addition is responsible for the continuous development (technical and economic aspects) of the test equipment.
  • Maintain, and update changes to the IMS systems
  • Ensure reporting requirements are adhered to.
  • Ad-hoc projects must be implemented to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
  • To support and assist team members where possible.
  • Compliance to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, and PCI, etc.
  • Verify compliance with defined processes and rules by Operators and Leaders.

Qualifications: Higher Certificate, NQF 6 or Equivalent in;-

  • Quality Management
  • Or any other related to the above position.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in a similar role.

  • Ability to work on own initiatives
