The willingness to commit to a full program which will enable the candidate to be trained in various activities within the Audit and Risk Management that support user departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordination and preparation of quarterly audit file and follow up on audit implementation register which may include work papers, flowcharts, narratives, sampling, and computer-assisted audit preparing techniques.
- Perform follow up on monthly APP targets evidence files and analyse submitted information.
- With the support of department management, execute aspects of the audit process, including planning, inter departmental coordination, control testing, work paper documentation, and reporting.
- Obtain a thorough understanding of the company’s operational processes and supporting technologies used to support the user access management program.
- Develop an understanding of key business applications and the business processes they support.
- Assesses risks and the state of controls for entity-wide operations including information system/technology operations (data centres, application systems, development efforts, computing environments/technologies, and telecommunications)
- Thinks strategically and communicates the risks and impact of controls to Audit and Risk office.
- Documents significant processes and tests key control
Prerequisites:
- Degree / National Diploma in;-
- Internal Audit
- Public Administration
- Accounting
- Financial Management
Competency in the following:
- Computer literacy (MS Office; database; internet)
