Job Title: Marketing & Communication Intern
Job Type: Graduate Internship
Location: Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa (Head Office)

This is an exciting opportunity for graduates and TVET college learners that have qualification/s
from accredited and recognised tertiary institutions in the following fields to participate in the
internship programme.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the reception and switchboard by ensuring that the following are executed:
- Control access to the building
- Answering all incoming calls and responding to queries;
- Transferring calls to appropriate people;
- Providing client service
- Receiving mail and parcels over the counter;
- Distribute mail/faxes to relevant departments;
- Ensure efficient communication between the FP&M SETA stakeholders and relevant staff members and serve as the face of the organization to stakeholders, clients and visitors;
- Maintain an effective filing systems and record outgoing and incoming mails;
- Liaise with the courier company for bookings to ensure smooth mail distribution;
- Working as part of the Marketing and Communications team to promote the FP&M SETA brand;
- Assist with the control of stock of marketing & communications brochures and promotional materials;
- Data capturing using Excel e.g. attendance of learners at exhibitions as required;
- Update stakeholder database on an ongoing basis;
- Attending career exhibitions with the Marketing and Communications Specialist;
- Assist with the channels of communication;
- Assist with monitoring of website and social media platforms to ensure up-to-date content;
- Attending career exhibitions with the Marketing and Communications Specialist;
- Provide input with the development of questionnaires and analysis of the Stakeholder Perception Survey;
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as and when required;
- Any other reasonable task as may be requested by Management
Qualifications:
National Diploma in;-
- Marketing,
- Communications,
- Public Relations
- Office Administration
- Or equivalent
Minimum Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12),
- Be computer literate with MS packages.
- Good Communication skills (Written and spoken).
- Passion for technology and finding innovative ways to problem solving skills.
- Not have previously completed an internship
- Have no prior working experience
- Have excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Be prepared to enter into a learning agreement for period not exceeding 12 months commencing as soon as possible
