Risk & Pricing Intern
Purpose of the Job:
- To analyse, assess and review data to assist in identifying opportunities to improve how we assess risk and to give our customers a fairer price. Collaborating with other areas of our department to bring a new data source to life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with issuing of quotes
- Assist with costing of tenders
- Assist with issuing early terminations and settlements
- Assist with issuing restructures
- Assist with any other specific requirement or ad hoc task within Risk & Pricing Department
- Complete disposals on or before 30th of every month.
- Prepare all relevant management reports.
- Ensure monthly processes and cycles are maintained and that corrective measures or updates are actioned.
Qualifications:
- 3-Year Degree / Diploma majoring in Accounting and Finance
- Computer Literate
Intetn: Legal, Risk & Compliance
Purpose of the Job:
- To ensure compliance with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements through the provision of compliance services and to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report regulatory compliance risks facing the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining compliance, risk and governance policies/framework.
- Drives relationship and engagement management with key stakeholders.
- Check compliance with tender, RFQ requirements and ensure that we have understood scope of work and requirements;
- End-to-end reporting and advising on compliance queries;
- Maintaining compliance risk management plans;
- Provide guidance / advice to relevant stakeholders on legal, risk and compliance matters;
- Manage legal matters of the organization, liaise with attorneys and provide weekly/ monthly report to senior management and Group counsel;
- Ensure that we comply with contract requirements with clients;
- Assist with daily tasks as well as training, revision of and input on Compliance training materials.
- Self-starter and able to work independently with ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation and ability to work closely with other team members and displaying trust and loyalty;
- Ability to manage assigned tasks in an assertive, efficient and timeous manner
Qualifications:
- LLB / Risk Management / Internal Audit Degree
- Postgraduate/Honours (Risk or Compliance Management) will be advantageous
