The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Intern: Assistant Technical Specialist
Purpose of the Job:
- Represent Fleet Africa at internal and external customers and suppliers regarding technical procurement issues and support.
Responsibilities:
- Vehicle specification Management
- Supplier Management
- Technical advice
- Technical support Procurement load distribution and design drawings, provided all required information is completed and correct
- Supply technical drawings for all commercial vehicles when requested / required
- Technical support Contracts, new business and tenders, attend tender briefing and client specification meetings where required.
- Assist with vehicle selection in line with vehicle capabilities and client or tender requirements and expectations (provide fit for purpose solutions)
- Maintenance control (F/A fund, warranties)
- Assist with vehicle / body design
- Supplier management Build body builders, specification sign off and weekly progress report to Procurement
Qualifications:
- Minimum Matric / Grade 12
- Qualified Diesel and/or Petrol Mechanic
Intern: Mechanic Assistant
Purpose of the Job:
- Represent E-One at internal and external customers and suppliers regarding service and repairs to Emergency vehicles
Responsibilities
- Assist the qualified mechanic
- Technical support to customers regarding Emergency Vehicles
- Invoicing of services and repairs
- Technical support to customers.
- Keep tools and equipment is a usable condition
- Manage vehicle repairs and associated processes.
- Ensure fleet vehicles are serviced in line with OEM requirements.
- Abuse Identification, providing the necessary technical assessment and report to ensure abuse recovery.
- Identification of areas of risk.
- Stock takes of consumables and tools
- Liaise with FA Maintenance call center and ensure orders obtained prior to repairs
- Application and specification assessment
Qualifications:
- Minimum Matric / Grade 12
