Exxaro invites applicants to apply for Professionals-in-Training (PIT) Programme 2022-2025

Our three-year professionals-in-training (PIT) programme blends academic theory with hands-on experience in the workplace. Each graduate is paired with a technical coach who supervises exposure to various operations as well as technical, leadership and management training. After 36 months, trainees who meet the requirements for accreditation are guided to become professional engineers.
The three-year PIT programme of Exxaro is a world class development opportunity for recently graduated engineers & graduates into which young talent is recruited, trained and prepared for successful careers in the organisation.
This learning journey has established itself as one of the best within the industry, with personal one-on-one coaching and mentoring, access to senior leader coffee sessions, participation in an annual corporate event, frequent rotation within the company for maximum exposure, following a structured learning approach aligned with the relevant professional body, through innovative ways of learning.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have achieved a four (4) year BEng or Hons degree.
