The opportunities are presented at the Exxaro Belfast Coal Mine, the first of its kind in being a Digital and Connected Mine.

The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Business Improvement Internship x 1
Qualifications:
- Completed NDip / B Degree in Industrial Engineering
Rock Engineering Internship x 1
Qualifications: Completed NDip / B Degree in;-
- Mining Engineering
- Geology Engineering
Mining Internship (In service training) (P1 & P2 candidates) x 1
Qualifications:
- N.Dip/B Degree in Mining Engineering (P1 & P2 students in need of workplace experience to complete qualification)
Occupational Hygiene Internship x 1
Qualifications:
- Completed NDip / B Degree in;-
- Occupational Hygiene
- Environmental Health
- Registered Occupational Hygiene assistant with SAIOH or Practical Certificate in Mine Environmental Control (advantageous)
Metallurgy Internship (P1 & P2 students) x 2
Qualifications:
- NDip / B Degree in Metallurgical Engineering (P1 & P2 students in need of workplace experience to complete qualification).
