Energy Capital & Power invites unemployed graduates to apply for Graduate / Internship Programme 2023.

ECP is looking for a writing intern to work for AEW, producing content leading up to and for the duration of the 2023 edition of the event. The AEW intern will work under and report to the Deputy Editor and Managing Editor.
Primary Professional Duties:
- Producing daily content leading up to AEW 2023 including interviews, articles and news/press releases.
- Researching and writing content for the media channels of the event.
- Compose new content based on research and develop engaging content leading up to the event to entice the target audience.
- Produce content during the event, covering panel discussions, deal-signings, on- stage interviews and presentations in real-time.
- Following up and producing content post-event including articles, press releases, reports and interviews.
- Regular reporting to the Managing Editor and Deputy Editor regarding status of event content.
What We Are Looking For:
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail. All content should be fact-checked and free of spelling/grammatical errors.
- Someone who is eager to learn.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. The event, as well as leading up to it, will be a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to interview and interface with C-suite executives and high-level government officials.
- Prior experience working at events is an added bonus but not required.
- Must be available to travel to Cape Town for the event. In-person attendance is a
- MUST. (Flights and accommodation will be covered).
- Basic knowledge of the energy sector is a bonus but not required.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English is required.
